BackVision -Wireless Car Backup Camera and Ultrasonic Obstacle Alert System

Introduction:

Backup Camera provides everyday drivers with great convenience and safety. However the camera can only be found on newer cars with higher configuration. People  have to pay a lot more money to get this figure either from manufacturer or a third party company. A start-up company named Pearl has made an easy-install Backup Camera on license plate but they ended up with  bankruptcy due to overly high price. We believe the Backup Came should be a feature accessible and affordable for every driver and that’s the reason we want a build this wireless car backup camera with low cost, various functions and easy installation.

Goal

Upgrade every driver’s  car in minutes with BackVision. Backup with confidence with the wireless backup camera and ultrasonic obstacle alert system that turns the driver’s  phone into a  car-rearview screen. Driver are able to have night-vision through IR camera filter and also motion detection feature.

Approach:

As the technology develops, most of new model car have back up camera, which increase the safety and low the risk of accident. However, for most old model car,they don’t have camera So we come up a idea:  adding rear vision camera in the car which doesn’t have camera before.Our product including mutilple parts: infrared scope for detecting obstacle during dark condition and ultrasonic sensor detecting distance. Also, our design will be much cheaper than the dealership and it will be easy to install. We firmly believe that our design can low the risk of unnecessary accident.
