Project Description:
Our project idea is a Bluetooth Module. Stereo speakers in the old days often used vacuum tubes, which produced very distinct warm sounds that are highly sought after. Many of these stereos are highly valued, very reliable, and continue to remain a staple in audiophile homes. While producing stellar audio quality, they lack the more functional and convenient features present in modern stereo such as WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities as well as smart features. The project attempts to solve the problems of old fashioned stereo speakers becoming more obsolete as technology advances by making an easy to use add-on product that will give stereo WiFi capability.
The main innovation we want to emphasize in our design is the availability of a bluetooth speaker upgrade at an affordable cost. We want to provide sound quality and functionality in a portable package without any compromises. Our approach will also focus on implementing a simple, user friendly interface.
Our group came up with this idea by brainstorming various possible projects with our mentor.
We plan to learn as much as we can from our mentor, while also using various resources to learn the necessary skills to complete this project.
Our project mostly focuses on specializations within EE. Any required software skills that none of our group members possess will be self-taught.
