Objectives and Goals -

We aim to provide a product that provides accurate and detailed instructions for navigation, and augment existing guidance systems.

Introduction -

This project aims to allow a ground-based vehicle to accurately and safely navigate through an area with the help of an air vehicle with image capturing capturing capabilities and through image processing. Using commercial-off-the-shelf components and custom solutions, we intend to design a system to guide a land vehicle using commands determined by an aerial vehicle’s feedback. This resulting system will allow a user to foresee and account for various potentially unexpected obstacles in a path by using this data to optimize a new path and increase travel efficiency.
