Introduction:

Our project is going to build a system in smart home, which can monitor people who come in front of the door. We decide to use a Raspberry Pi as our control node and Zigbee protocol in the system.

During our daily observation, we find out that the cleaning faculty staff need to spend a lot of time checking all trash bins that are separated broadly on campus and offices every day, which efficiency is very low. The design of trash bins are not smart enough as well and we find many points remain to be improved. This is our original inspiration of this project.
